Hey! I’m Glad you’re here! My name’s Meryl Kennedy and
I’m a Designer specializing in handbags, accessories and graphic art with over 12 years in the fashion industry.
Some of the companies I have worked with are Victoria’s Secret- PINK, Betsey Johnson for Steve Madden, Vince Camuto, Capelli NY, Degs and Sal, Ed Jacobs NY, CMD Creative, Rocket and Rex, Go No.2, K7DG, QUR Life, FAB NY, and Birdie Town Golf.
I have worked both full-time and freelance which has enhanced my knowledge of different areas of the industry. Through doing so, I have been fortunate enough to work with many different people and create wonderful connections.
In early 2020, the design industry took a large halt with the outbreak of COVID-19. Like many people, I found myself stuck inside, with endless time on my hands. So, when the CDC announced that everyone should start wearing fabric masks due to a medical mask shortage, I knew I could help. I created Crushin’ COVID, and started making cotton masks. I donated 5% of profits to the Freelancers Union to help freelancers in similar situations as myself, and 5% to Off their Plate, a not-for-profit organization, where donations help pay restaurants for meals, keeping them in business, and donate those meals to health workers all over the US.
In my spare time I like to travel, be with friends and family, hang out with my dog, and relax at the beach with a book.
